Tiffany Palazzo earned her undergraduate degree from Ramapo College and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University. Her post-graduate training was completed at the High Focus Centers, where she received live-supervised training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), focusing on mindfulness.
Tiffany has extensive experience working with teens, adults, and families across various settings. Her approach is deeply rooted in a variety of theoretical models, tackling issues such as substance abuse, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, and challenges faced by the LGBTQ community and their families. She has also facilitated DBT-informed groups, covering core modules like mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation.
In her therapy sessions, Tiffany incorporates mindfulness techniques, diaphragmatic breathing, and cognitive restructuring to help clients gain new perspectives on their situations. Her eclectic therapeutic style emphasizes CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT, and self-compassion, aiming to provide a supportive and safe environment where clients can confront life’s challenges and learn to embrace themselves more fully each day.

Recently, Tiffany completed training in Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) in March 2024, enhancing her expertise in treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder with techniques that help clients confront obsessive triggers.
Outside of her professional life, Tiffany enjoys the outdoors, including walking, hiking, and immersing herself in nature. She practices yoga weekly, advocating for mindfulness as a transformative element of well-being.
