  1. Why did you choose to become a therapist?

I found myself seeking therapy when I was younger and was so grateful to have found someone that was able to hold a safe space to explore myself and feelings. My personal experience with therapy has been one of the greatest things to happen to me and I wanted to create that for other people as well.

I love working with people and to watch clients come to a space and be vulnerable and do such hard work on themselves. It is so inspiring. It is such a gift to watch clients grow and discover things about themselves that are helping them heal.

Watching them accept themselves and the things out of their control.

  1. How would you best describe your style, interventions used, area of focus as a therapist?

I utilize a client centered approach with a focus on polyvagal practice and incorporating cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, and dialectical behavioral interventions.
