Anarghya Nirbail, LAC
Anarghya Nirbail is a Licensed Associate Counselor. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Hofstra University and her Masters in Counseling from Assumption College at the Aaron TBeck Institute. She specializes in working with the children and adolescent population, using their interests to quickly build rapport and make them more invested in the therapy process.
Anarghya has worked in the State of Massachusetts for a year before moving to New Jersey. Her clinical work experience includes outpatient, intensive in community and in-home services. She has extensive training in CBTand uses it in conjunction with other forms of therapy including play therapy, and art therapy to help treat clients. She also has experience using the Nurtured Heart approach with families. Anarghya also practices culturally sensitive therapy with a focus on the Asian population. She has helped families bridge the gap between first generation immigrant parents and their children that have grown up in the states. Anarghya also has experience conducting biopsychosocial assessments, and helping families implement strategies to assist them in managing their children’s behavioral difficulties.

Anarghya’s Specialty Areas:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy – Anarghya completed her graduate education at the Aaron T Beck Institute. She uses a variety of CBT techniques to help reduce negative symptomology in her clients along with giving her clients tools to manage their symptoms in the future.
