Angela Mancini, LAC

Angela Mancini is a Licensed Associate Therapist through the State of New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from New Jersey City University and her Masters Degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling through Kean University. Angela is a National Certified Counselor and is also certified in Disaster Response and a Certified Behavioral Assistant. Additionally, Angela is a 200-hour certified yoga and meditation instructor. Angela has received extensive training in substance abuse through Ocean County Community College and is in the process of becoming a Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LCADC).

Angela has worked with the State of New Jersey Department of Children and Family Services. She has also worked in an inpatient mental health and substance abuse center. Angela has attended multiple trainings on domestic violence while she was a caseworker in a domestic violence emergency shelter. She also received her Disaster Response Certificate while supervising Crisis Clinicians in Atlantic County immediately following Hurricane Sandy. For three years, Angela was an in-home Behavioral Assistant working one-on-one with children ranging from ages 5 to 17 years old, helping them to develop appropriate behavioral interventions. Angela has experience in facilitating groups, biopsychosocial assessments, and mindfulness-based interventions, leading her clients to have an improvement in both mental and spiritual health.
